woot woot! gotta love youtube! it took me a while to find a video, but then it hit me- new kids on the block! i don't know why it took me so long to think of them. i dream about donnie wahlberg every night...nah just kidding. so here is the one i chose- the right stuff video. gotta say that my funky homeboy looks awful good here! love love love youtube!
i went into podcast.net and did the library search thingy. didn't find much of anything i liked, so i chose the kankakee library podcast. why kankakee? well first of all, i used to know a cat named kankakee. and also, kankakee just rooollls off the tongue! LoL. i added it to my bloglines account, but i do not think i will keep it after my 27things is finished. not my cup of tea. cannot say whether anything i found there would be worth trying at kcls. nope, sure can't. but do ya wanna know what my cup of tea is? huh? do ya, punk? audio books! audio, text, either way, it's a book! and books are the love of my life. the one thing i was looking forward to most on doing this 27things thing was getting an mp3 player so i could check out ebooks from kcls. looks like there is a good selection there as well, some of my favorite authors. well, *whew* this weeks lessons are finished and i'm happy to say i am almost done with learning 2.0! woot woot!!

Okay, if this were 1989, you would totally have the coolest blog in KCLS! When I was in 6th grade, a bunch of girls started acting like they were married to New Kids and actually wrote "Molly McIntyre" or "Rachel Knight" or "Andrea Wahlberg" on their assignments. Hoo boy, and I thought I was celebrity obsessed! Of course, I was always liking someone weird when I was little, like George C. Scott ;-)
